Children's Bilingual Book Festival

On Saturday, April 27, 2019, Artful Life partnered with the National Hispanic Cultural Center (NHCC) to host Albuquerque's first Children’s Bilingual Book Festival featuring K-6 books in English, Spanish and Native languages.
The festival was free and open to the public and featured author readings, a book fair, art activities, workshops for teachers and parents, and more. Over 400 children and family members visited the festival this first year.

The festival also launched a summer reading program connecting children struggling with reading with free reading tutors who will provide one-on-one and group tutoring at the NHCC over the summer.
