To our Artful Life Family--
During these extraordinary times, we want to express our love and care for our communities. In an abundance of caution and in compliance with state regulations, Artful Life in-person meetings and public gatherings are limited to 10 persons until further notice.
Work with our youth artist teams continues as we work toward the creation of two murals in 2021.
We are mindful that school, work and business closings as well as social distancing will have a significant effect on our ordinary lives. They also deeply affect the work of Artful Life which exists to bring us together in creative spaces to foster relationships, kinship and love.
However, we understand that pausing community gatherings, in this moment, is also an expression of our respect for, commitment to, and love of our neighborhoods and communities as we attempt to minimize the spread of COVID-19.
We encourage those who will be spending more time at home--individuals and families--to write, draw, paint, sculpt, move, dance, sing, act and otherwise create. And, when possible, collaborate. We know the power of creativity to bring us solace and comfort in difficult times.
