On Saturday, April 27, 2019, Artful Life partnered with the National Hispanic Cultural Center (NHCC) to host Albuquerque's first Children’s Bilingual Book Festival featuring K-6 books in English, Spanish and Native languages.

The festival was free and open to the public and featured author readings, a book fair, art activities, workshops for teachers and parents, and more. Over 400 children and family members visited the festival this first year.
